The Last Will and Testament of Michael Maskell


Know All men by these presents That I Michael Maskell of Sanilac Michigan, feeling the uncertainty of life, being weak in body and of a sound Do make and constitue, This my last Will and testament -

First I bequeath unto my eldest son Michael, The North half of a certain piece or parcel of land, luing and being situate in East Dover, Canada West, and known and described as Lot Number twenty one. (Fifty acres half of the lot)

And to my second son Charles, I bequeath the South half of the above described lot of land, fifty acres. And I here in make and constitute Michael (my eldest son, above mentioned) Guardian for my second son Charles (above named) to look after his interest and act as his Guardian in the matter of said lot of land herein willed. And so soon as he, Charles, shall arrive to the age of twenty one years, Said Michael shall surrender his can and keeping of said lot of land to his brother Charles above mentioned.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 15th Day of April AD 1862 at Bnogehampton Michigan.
